Time to Re-Work Your New Years Resolution
 
It's a great time to evaluate that New Years Resolution to make your fitness goals happen for the rest of the year. Research shows that it takes 90 days to make change in your behaviors. Making fitness goals happen takes a plan. Focus with a touch of understanding of the changes wanted in your mind and body. Taking a step back and looking at your new fitness plan now can get you over the barriers that keep you on a roller coaster ride of doing or quitting a fitness process.

Is the plan realistic?
Let your body help with making adjustments to your plan. Only you know what is best. Listen to your body's feedback, and set achievable goals that keep you motivated.

Is it Challenging?
If you are not challenged in your workout, it's easy to add something new. Cross Training, a Personal Trainer or a Wellness class can help with keeping you on track and get you to understand any new exercise process. Changing from the same stale workout will help you to stay fresh and reduce chance of injury.

Is Your Body Tired?
Body Soreness' and heavy legs at the start of a workout is a sure sign of over work and the plan needs to be adjusted to keep the body safe. Guarding against no pain, no gain is the way to get fit, letting your body recover and heal is a solid foundation for wellness at any level. This does not mean that exercising everyday cannot happen.

Do You Track Your Workouts?
Monitor your workouts at the end of each day, week and month; adjustments to your plan are very important. Talk to a fitness professional for any problems that may come up, ask questions, and use the information to improve your fitness plan.

Take responsibility for where you are today in your fitness and make the decision to be proactive - commit to life change. Everyone has the ability to know the body's boundaries in a fitness workout but it takes awareness. Understanding limits and pushing them keeps your work out beneficial and safe for life.

Opening the mind to work with the body will make a balanced workout. Understanding the signs from the active body will keep you on track. Time to Push, Breath and Relax will all be clear when you listen, then you will achieve the Mind Body part of exercise.

Yoga is Back!!! After a extended search we found a great fit. Ruby McCarthy will start Wednesday April 2nd at 7:00pm. You will be able to sign up on the web.

If you have been loaned a book, straps, rings, ball etc. please return them.

Starting April 1st you must schedule class (4) hours prior to the start of class. If the class has (2) or less, it will be cancelled. Also as a reminder it is our policy to charge a $10.00 non-cancellation fee.
