Greg Mortenson comes to Greeley!
Greg Mortenson, author of Three Cups of Tea, will be speaking in Greeley at the UNC Butler Hancock Pavilion on February 10 at 3:30 pm. Free tickets for the public will be available beginning January 27 at the University Center, 20th Street and 10th Avenue. There is a limit of two tickets per person.

After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban
"starter" house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that seems to
be demonic. It is certainly most active in the middle of the night - especially
when they sleep - where the horrific presence is captured on their video camera.
Using its low-budget effects and mockumentary method to great result, this movie
turns a simple haunted house story into 90 minutes of relentless suspense.

Crafternoons: Metal Embossing
(adults, teens)

The art of metal embossing has been used on everything from religious icons
to home décor. The technique is easy to learn, and many tools can be made
from items you may already have. See how this ancient craft has been
rediscovered and used for making frames, decorating boxes and bottles,
scrapbooking, creating jewelry, and a variety of other exciting projects!
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. This
program is intended for those ages 13 and up.
