With winter fruits at their peak, Better Homes and Gardens has come up with an easy peeling technique.
In order to remove the peel and the pith of the citrus, take a paring knife and cut a small portion of the top and bottom of the citrus.
Place the flat bottom on the sturdy surface and run your paring knife between the pith and fruit, cutting off 1 to 1 1/2 inch strips, and viola, a ready to eat orange, or grapefruit!!
